Adding to our Bird collection, we present one of two Osprey designs (second one to be released later this month), this one has the Osprey flying away after taking a fresh fish.
Ospreys are special to us as they nest every year close to where we live.
The osprey, historically known as sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey with a cosmopolitan range. It is a large raptor, reaching more than 60 cm in length and a wingspan of 180 cm. It is brown on the upper parts and predominantly greyish on the head and under parts.
Our version isn't life size but its still a statement and measures approximately 55cm on the wingspan (furthest tip to tip) and 50cm tall (lowest part of the tail of the fish to the top of the wing)
Supplied in satin black powder coat or bare metal so it can rust as per the photo (spraying it with a white vinegar solution will accelerate the process).
Please note, item may have sharp edges, so please take care when handling.
It isn't supplied with any fixing holes or fixings, it can be hung on a couple of small nails, please take care when fitting, Vizwizz accepts no responsibility for the mounting of this piece.
